                Merged mining

                External chain work is bound into Kronex blocks, and workshares make that work self-verifying.

                Mining on Kronex — direct and merged →

                Merged mining lets work performed for another proof-of-work chain be bound into a Kronex block. Pool integrations exist for BCH, LTC, RVN and ZEC. Workshares travel with that work as a self-verifying parent-chain proof, so the binding does not depend on trusting the pool.
