Merged mining lets work performed for another proof-of-work chain be bound into a Kronex block. Pool integrations exist for BCH, LTC, RVN and ZEC. Workshares travel with that work as a self-verifying parent-chain proof, so the binding does not depend on trusting the pool.

WHAT EXISTS TODAY
What exists today
Most of this page is running on the testnet today: consensus, network architecture, security, execution, chain economics and merged mining. Sections 05 and 06 — privacy and the marketplace protocol — are not built. Mainnet has a chain ID and has not launched.
